The way that K.E Pottie is able to transition back and forth between modern times and the era of 1944 while keeping the story interesting and not overly muddled is very impressive. The writing is interesting and evokes a deep sense of emotion for not only the mystical properties of an item like the Spear of Destiny, but simply because of the source material; the Nazis in any form are not an easy topic to write about, but K.E Pottie uses a deft hand in weaving the tale of adventure here. I love a good adventure and the 13th Cohort delivered.
K.E. Pottie has written an incredible double story of espionage, dedication, and the fight of good against evil. Excellent realism along with believable supernatural elements make this story highly entertaining and exciting. The 13th Cohort combines an excellent war story with espionage, passion, and dedication that keeps the pages turning and the reader cheering for the good guys.
